Q 003 Even long before Don Q.
and during centuries to follow,
knights with a reasonable IQ,
fought the values which were hollow.
Today I mount not a mare,
but prefer a vintage bike;
about a lance I do not care,
it’s brush attacks I mostly like.
I defy all human vices,
as the duty of a knight,
cannot be bought by highest prices,
fighting windmills I have right.
But for the battle for the better,
one must have a truthful squire,
also feuding for the latter.
A mankind which is not for hire.
If one thinks this fight is foolish,
so is it surely not in vain,
as un-values will not be rulish,
are they exposed to scorn and pain. |
